It was hard to choose the first-place winner, so I decided to give TWO first-place prizes:

I guess I was tagged? Monday, Jul 14 2008

Okay, seems I was “tagged” by Capadia (from the Cricut Message Board). I’ve never been one for these types of games, but I figure it’s rude to just ignore it…so here goes: 

Ten Years Ago: I was 31 and still fairly new to teaching.
Five things on today’s to-do list: Well, it’s close to 11 PM so I guess I should say, “Put on pajamas, brush teeth, get into bed, turn off light, sleep.” 
Snacks I enjoy: I like sweet and sour things (Sweettarts, skittles, etc.) I also hear brownies can be quite good.
Places I’ve lived: New Hampshire, California. Boring, I know.
I’m going to tag: Really…nobody. I guess I’m a party-pooper…but I did play part of the game!

Okay, better late than never I always say (just not to my students).

I’m published! Wednesday, Jul 2 2008

Okay, so it’s not published in the traditional sense, but I did get an article into the electronic magainze, found at www.scrapbooking.com!

A couple years ago, when I first got into the hobby, I created a fun post on their message boards that included a guy’s guide to scrapbooking. Well, just recently, the editor came to me with the desire to finally publish it in the magazine!

And the rest is *cough* literary history!
